Center High Ranks Perfect 10

The following information was embargoed until last night but will be released by the State Department of Education to the media and public today. Center High School earned an API of 791 for the 2012 base and a Similar Schools ranking of a perfect 10. This ranking means that, according to the California State Department of Education guidelines, Center High School does as well or better than any high school in the state of California with similar demographics. (See Comparison Chart)

This is outstanding news!!! This is the highest API CHS has ever received and a similar school ranking of 10 is the highest a school can earn. Congratulations and great job to everyone for this accomplishment!!!

Superintendent's Message

As many of you may know, the district's Family Resource Center maintains a clothes closet to assist families who are experiencing hardship. We help ensure students have school and weather appropriate clothing, so they can focus on their education instead of being cold and uncomfortable. Some of you generously donate already.
